The Discover Biathlon Program is available to organized groups with participants aged 10+. The Vancouver Island Mountain Center, located only ~500 meters from the VIBC Range will host School groups, Scouts, Guides, or other organized groups.
This 2.5 hour introductory coached session provides the participant an opportunity to try the marksmanship skills required for winter biathlon. For greater success in this learning opportunity, the shooting component is paired with snowshoeing instead of skate skiing. However, if a particular group already has skiing experience, and would like to ski, please contact the VIMC to discuss this option.

The program fee includes snowshoes, trail passes, certified rifle instruction, ammunition, as well as day insurance with Biathlon Canada.
